Coriene Catsman, MD, MSc. (1989) studied medicine at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. This university is positioned in the top 3% of best universities in the world, and they have a strong emphasis on academic and scientific training. Doctors that have been educated at the Erasmus University Rotterdam have a patient-oriented professional attitude, are known to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and tend to be socially involved. Coriene worked in the operating room, the surgery department, the outpatient clinic, the emergency room, and the intensive care unit. She has always been interested in the cosmetic aspect of medicine and has also performed cosmetic treatments during this time.
“In 2018 I continued to specialise in general medicine whilst also enjoying working at House of Bratz. The atmosphere in our clinic is cosy and casual, with open and transparent contact with our clients. Personally, I think it is crucial that our clients are given the time to discuss their wishes, that they feel at ease and that they have an idea of what the treatment and the expected results will be like.
I am available for all the cosmetic facial treatments with fillers and Botox. My favourite treatment, if I had to choose just one, would be the liquid facelift. I enjoy the process of analysing the client’s face. Together with the client, we look at the strengths and weaknesses within the face. From there on out, we can improve, emphasise, or camouflage what is needed. It truly is a tailor-made treatment. We look at the entire face, and not just a specific part. That’s because at House of Bratz, we look at faces holistically to ensure facial harmony and balance. This way of working ensures more balance within the face, which creates more natural results.
In my opinion, I would say that a treatment is really successful when the client feels more beautiful and more confident afterwards. That’s because I believe that, ultimately, outer beauty reflects how you feel inside.”
