The liquid nose job is the perfect way to change the shape of your nose without having to undergo a rhinoplasty. No downtime, no operation, no swelling, and no knives. It almost sounds too good to be true, but we can assure you that the liquid nose job treatment is legit. You might have a few little bruises where we administer the filler, but those can be covered with foundation 24 hours after the treatment. The liquid nose job is a true lunchtime treatment, meaning that you’ll be done in 30 minutes.
Why your nose is so important for aesthetics
Our nose is a very central part of the face and can therefore make it, or break it, aesthetically. A ‘good’ nose creates facial harmony. If the nose is too small, the face can look flat and broad. If a nose is too large, the chin can appear less attractive, and the other features become overwhelmed. Bringing the nose into harmony with other facial features is the goal of the liquid nose job or any other nose job. What is considered an attractive nose, differs for each individual. Some find the Greek, straight nose the most beautiful type. Others swear by the slightly stubby nose, also referred to as the tinker bell nose.
It’s important that your nose fits your face. Not everyone can pull off the Tinkerbell look, and not everyone looks great with a straight, Greek nose. Different ethnic groups tend to have different noses. When you stray too far from your natural nose, it may look unnatural. A good cosmetic doctor will analyse your face, and advise you based on what would look best on you, considering your ethnicity and your facial harmony.
What are the different types of noses?
We assembled a few prominent nose types based on ethnic background. It’s essential to realise that this is a generalisation.
- The African nose typically has wide nostrils, a low nasal bridge, and minimal projection of the nasal tip.
- Middle eastern noses are often long and slightly droopy. They are characterised by bulbous nasal tips, prominent nose bridges, and sometimes, large dorsal humps.
- Asian noses resemble African noses in the sense that they both have wide nostrils with low nasal bridges. This can create a flatter facial profile.
- Latino, or Hispanic noses, tend to have wider noses without a drooping or bulbous tip. They tend to have a dorsal hump and sometimes even side bumps as well.
- Caucasian noses can be the small, upturned kind (like the celestial nose) or straight with a sloping curve that prominently protrudes from the face kind. Caucasians tend to have a narrower nose that protrudes more in comparison to African or Asian noses.
House of Bratz liquid nose job
You are beautiful just the way you are, but if you have certain insecurities about your nose, you can change it to feel more confident. House of Bratz can help you with the liquid nose job. Many people decide to get a liquid nose job before they get an actual nose job to get a preview of what their results might be. When you undergo a nose job, the results are final, even if you don’t like the look of it. A liquid nose job is not permanent, meaning that after 6 to 12 months the filler is gone, leaving you with your original nose. You can decide to keep your ‘own’ nose, continue with the liquid nose jobs, or move forward with an actual nose job. The beauty is that it’s entirely up to you.
The goal of the liquid nose job is to create your dream nose without the pain or downtime. We can’t change bone structure or cartilage, but we can get rid of bumps, humps, dents and more! We can even create that famous upturned look everyone wants, or straighten your nose, giving it that elegant, almost regal look. Almost anything is possible with fillers, and our House of Bratz specialists are trained to create the perfect result. One that suits your face for an aesthetically pleasing look and creates facial harmony. No two faces are the same, so our advice will be personal and specific to you only.
What type of filler do we use?
We use hyaluronic acid to create your new nose. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that can be found in your body. It is a moisture magnet that helps your cells retain their elasticity. This in turn, creates skin that not only appears hydrated and plump, but is actually healthy as well. House of Bratz uses Stylage. This filler increases the elasticity of the skin, making the filler firm and ensuring a natural smooth effect of the skin. The filler contains mannitol, which means that the risk of side effects such as bruising is minimal. The lidocaine that is processed in Stylage provides an anaesthetic effect when the injection is administered into the skin.
Liquid nose job process
It is incredibly important that you choose a licensed practitioner for a liquid nose job. This treatment is one of the more difficult ones, which means that you need a specialist with experience. Even if you select another clinic, we hope that you choose one with licensed professionals who know what they are doing.
Before we start with your liquid nose job, we sit down together for a consultation. We discuss what exactly you would like to change and what you want to achieve with your liquid nose job. We use different methods, depending on what kind of results you want to achieve. Not only that, but we also analyse your face and advise you on what would look best on you. We also take a look at your medical background and history. Before we start the injection process, we take pictures of your nose from different angles so that you can compare them with the final result of your liquid nose job.
After we have photographed your nose, we will apply an anaesthetic cream to the nose. Our physician will then administer the injectable filler with an ultra-thin cannula needle. This adds volume, provides contour, and changes the shape of your nose to the desired result. This takes between 12 and 25 minutes.
How long does it take to see the results?
The beauty of fillers is that the result is immediate. You will have a swollen version of the final result after your liquid nose job. You might bruise slightly in the areas where the filler was administered. That’s perfectly normal, so there is no need to worry. Some believe that they look overfilled, but it’s the swelling that gives that impression. We recommend patience when it comes to fillers. After about 2 weeks, the area will be healed completely, the swelling will be gone, and the final result will be exactly what it should be.
What not to do after the treatment?
We advise you to not do the following things after your liquid nose job at House of Bratz:
- No smoking, no alcohol consumption, and no physical exercise the first 24 hours.
- Limit sun exposure and don’t visit tanning beds the first 2 weeks.
- No sauna, spa, and hammam for the first 2 weeks.
- No facial treatments, such as laser treatments or peels, the first 2 weeks.
