Frown lines are obvious and change the look of your face immensely. Anyone with frown lines will agree that they don’t send a positive message. Especially in comparison to, for example, crow’s feet. Crow’s feet are a sign of smiling a lot (or squinting). Frown lines, on the other hand, indicate how much a person has frowned. This doesn’t necessarily have to be true for everyone who suffers from frown lines, of course. Commonly known as the ‘eleven lines’, frown lines are easily fixed with the House of Bratz frown lines Botox treatment.
What are frown lines?
Frown lines are the lines that appear between the eyebrows when you frown. If you can still see the frown lines when your face is relaxed, you have them. Many people confuse frown lines with forehead lines. This is understandable, since both types are part of your “glabella”, the skin on your forehead, between your eyebrows and above your nose. There is however a big difference. Frown lines are vertical lines between your eyebrows. They vary in length, deepness and look depending on the individual. Forehead lines are horizontal lines on, you guessed it, your forehead.
Why do I have frown lines?
As with almost every type of wrinkle, we can chalk it up to the loss of elastin, collagen and ageing overall. This, combined with muscle memory and extensive use of the muscle responsible (the corrugator supercilii muscle), is why frown lines appear. Some of the factors that accelerate ageing, and the appearance of frown lines are stress, natural gravity, genetic, UV, and sun exposure. There are also daily activities where people tend to frown, for example with computer use. Relaxing the corrugator supercilii muscle can help prevent the frown lines from forming. This is the goal of the frown lines Botox treatment by House of Bratz.

Frown lines Botox treatment process
The frown lines Botox treatment by House of Bratz is a relatively simple and straightforward treatment. When you arrive at your appointment, one of our House of Bratz specialists will talk you through the process of the frown lines Botox treatment during a consultation. You can describe your wishes, and we will advise you. Then, we take a look at your medical history and background and decide together what treatment would suit you best. House of Bratz values your uniqueness, which is why our specialists use their extensive knowledge of aesthetics to create high-quality results that fit you personally. Before we start the injection process, we take pictures of the area that will be treated. We want you to experience the enormous difference the House of Bratz frown lines Botox treatment will have through your own before and after photos.
Then, we apply a topical anaesthetic to numb the area. The area will be thoroughly cleaned and the House of Bratz specialist will prick the areas to be treated. We will use a thin, sterilised needle to inject Botox into the skin between your eyebrows. This treatment will typically require multiple injections, but it doesn’t take long. Including your consultation, it will take around 6 to 15 minutes.
How long does it take to see the results?
You will see the initial results within 3 to 4 days. They will be small in comparison to your final results, which you will see within 14 days after your frown lines Botox treatment. Immediately after your treatment, you might experience a slight stinging or numbness in the area of the injections. This is perfectly normal and should wear off within a day. There may be small red spots where you have been injected, but these are almost unnoticeable to the eye. You are immediately presentable after the treatment. After about 3 to 6 months, the effect wears off, and you can repeat the treatment. The more often the treatment is performed, the longer it takes for the effect of the muscle relaxant to wear off. Your muscles become less tense, the more treatments it undergoes.
