Chin fillers add volume to your chin, making it slightly more protruding, creating a pleasant side profile. The chin is an important part of the face, and, like the jawline, it defines the face and its profile. Some people think that their nose is too big, but occasionally the reason the face looks imbalanced is because of a weak, recessed chin. House of Bratz specialists, with all their extensive knowledge on aesthetics, the law of thirds, the golden ratio, and more, know exactly what your face needs after we analyse it. We know what to do with your undefined chin: chin fillers.
Why the chin is more important than you think
Why the chin is important for women
Our nose, lips, eyes, eyebrows, jawline, and cheekbones are all very obvious facial features. Many people know exactly what they want these facial features to look like, but interestingly enough, not many people seem to realise the importance of the chin and how it fits into the greater structure of the face. Here at House of Bratz, we focus on creating high-quality results and helping you feel beautiful. We create these high-quality results by making sure that our treatments add to the facial harmony of our clients. We cannot stress this enough; beauty lies within harmony and balance. The chin is an important part of this balance. Even the most beautiful woman in the world, Bella Hadid, according to a report provided by “Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi,” would look ‘off’ without her strong, slightly protruding chin.
Why the chin is important for men
The same goes for men, maybe even more than for women. A strong, chiselled jaw with a masculine chin can utterly transform a man. Research has shown that chiselled jaws and strong chins appear more masculine and are considered universally attractive. A study conducted in 2015 by a plastic surgeon found that 94% of the CEOs on the Fortune 500 list had chins that ranged from average to above average in prominence. It is important to consider that these are some of the most successful and influential men in the world. A prominent chin is linked to power, which means that it is something many men want to emulate. Some even grow a beard to distract from their lack of chin. A few men who are known for their strong chins are Henry Cavill, John Hamm, and Liam Hemsworth.
House of Bratz chin fillers treatment
House of Bratz balances your face with the chin filler treatment. The objective of the chin filler treatment is to create facial harmony for the front and side profile. Almost anything is possible with fillers, and our House of Bratz specialists are trained to create the perfect result. What type of filler do we use?
We use hyaluronic acid to create your new chin. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that can be found in your body. It is a moisture magnet that helps your cells retain their elasticity. This, in turn, creates skin that not only appears hydrated and plump, but is actually healthy as well. House of Bratz uses Stylage. This filler increases the elasticity of the skin, making the filler firm and ensuring a natural, smooth effect. The filler contains mannitol, which means that the risk of side effects such as bruising is small. The lidocaine that is processed in Stylage provides an anaesthetic effect when the injection is administered into the skin.
Chin filler treatment process
After we have welcomed you, we ask you to sit down with us for a consultation. During this consultation, we discuss what you would like to change and what you want to accomplish with your chin filler treatment. Depending on your wishes, we will use different methods that fit your goals. We also analyse your face and advise you on what would look best on you. We take a look at your medical background and history and decide what treatment would suit you best. Before we start the injection process, we take pictures of your chin from different angles so that you can compare them with the final result of your chin filler treatment.
After we have photographed your chin, we will apply an anaesthetic cream to the chin. Our House of Bratz specialist will then administer the injectable filler with an ultra-thin cannula needle. This adds volume, provides contour, and changes the shape of your chin to the desired result. The chin filler treatment takes 10 to 15 minutes.
How long does it take to see the results?
The beauty of fillers is that you get immediate results. Of course, it will be a swollen version of the final result the first few days. You might even bruise slightly in the areas where the filler was administered. That’s perfectly normal, so there is no need to worry. Some believe that they look overfilled, but it’s the swelling that gives that impression. Patience is key after a chin filler treatment. After 2 weeks, the area will have healed completely, the swelling will be gone, and the final result is exactly what it should be.
What not to do after the treatment?
We advise you to not do the following things after your chin filler treatment at House of Bratz:
- No smoking, no alcohol consumption, and no physical exercise the first 24 hours.
- Limit sun exposure and don’t visit tanning beds the first 2 weeks.
- No sauna, spa, and hammam for the first 2 weeks.
- No facial treatments, such as laser treatments or peels, the first 2 weeks.
