Filler treatments
With fillers, your dream look can become your reality.
Fillers, as you probably already know, serve to fill grooves, lines and wrinkles and add volume where needed. They differ from Botox, as Botox temporarily relaxes muscles but cannot add volume. At House of Bratz, we use hyaluronic acid-based fillers, using different brands depending on the area to be treated. The use of fillers is extremely safe in the hands of a qualified practitioner, and millions of treatments have been performed with hyaluronic acid worldwide. Fillers offer a non-surgical solution to almost any facial or body uncertainty, without the need for surgery. Many people prefer fillers and Botox to surgery because of their less painful nature and the minimal to no recovery time required. They help maintain a youthful appearance by counteracting volume loss in the face. As one ages, the fat and support tissue in the face decreases, resulting in sagging skin. This can lead to less defined cheekbones, sunken tear ducts and marionette lines that cause a tired or unsatisfied appearance.
FIllers FAQ

A filler is a substance that is injected into and under the skin. With filler, facial contours can be restored, and wrinkles and lines can be reduced by filling where the line is most visible. It is also possible to strengthen the skin or create volume where there is less volume naturally or due to age, such as in the lips. Sometimes fillers are confused with Botox. The big difference between fillers and Botox is that Botox relaxes the muscle locally, preventing movement. Fillers fill an area and therefore do not affect the muscles.
You need to be at least 18 years old to undergo a House of Bratz filler treatment.
According to the ‘Individuele Gezondheidszorg wet’, which translates to the Individual Healthcare Professions Act (BIG Act), every medical doctor may perform cosmetic treatments. Even if you don’t choose House of Bratz for your filler treatment, we still recommend that you choose a doctor who is part of the NVCG. The NVCG guarantees the quality of cosmetic treatments and continuously improves them. Doctors affiliated with the NVCG master the latest techniques and are perfectly aware of the latest product developments. In addition, these doctors have years of experience in performing injectables (fillers & Botox). All House of Bratz specialists are members of the NVCG.
A filler is a substance that is injected into the skin to create more volume. The gel is injected into the desired location using a very thin cannula needle. We discuss all your wishes during your consultation to ensure that you leave with high-quality results that you love. The House of Bratz doctors will determine which filler is best suited for the treatment you want. Some fillers have a thicker structure and are mainly used to restore the loss of contours. A somewhat thinner filler is better suited for lines and wrinkles. We take all of this into account and will advise you appropriately.
One of the many great things about fillers is that the results are not permanent. Fillers are broken down by the body and can have an effect between 6 and 12 months. It varies per individual, of course. This means that if you tried, for example, the liquid nose job to see if you should undergo a surgical nose correction, and you don’t like the results, you are not stuck with the result forever. Now you know that a nose correction would not give you the desired result.
Temporary fillers based on hyaluronic acid are perfectly safe. Fillers based on hyaluronic acid are automatically broken down by the body after a few months and because hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body, the risk of allergic reactions is minimal. It is, however, essential that you choose a licensed practitioner to ensure high-quality and safe results.

The beauty of fillers is that the result is immediate. You will have a swollen version of the final result after your filler treatment, and you might bruise slightly in the areas where the filler was administered. That’s perfectly normal, so there is no need to worry. Some believe that they look overfilled, but it’s the swelling that gives that impression. We recommend patience when it comes to fillers. After about 2 weeks, the area will be healed completely, the swelling will be gone, and the final result will be precisely what it should be.
